Weekly classes 2024/2025

Welcome to my art classes for kids! I offer classes for children aged 6 and up, tailored to each age group's abilities and needs. Classes run weekly from August to May, following the Alpine School District Calendar, with minor adjustments for consistency. Each class consists of 36 sessions.

Upon registration before the first month of classes, a $25 non-refundable deposit is collected at checkout, which contributes towards the total yearly tuition. The first monthly payment will begin on August 5th and continue on the 5th of every month through May, automatically withdrawn from your account.

Tuition for classes is based on the total number of sessions (36 over 10 months) rather than monthly sessions. This fixed tuition model ensures consistent costs regardless of monthly session variations. Each session costs $15.28, resulting in a total of $550 for the school year. Monthly payments amount to $55 ($52.50 after the $25 deposit if you register before August 5th)

For late registrations, payments are prorated based on remaining sessions for the school year and will not require a deposit. Instead you will pay for the first month's tuition at registration.

Please note, I don't offer make-up classes, refunds, or pro-rated classes for missed sessions, even if you know your child will miss. This policy helps me keep my prices low and my classes accessible to more families.

Please note that when you sign up for a class, you're committing to the full school year, but I don't require a contract. If your situation changes, please let me know so we can work something out. I want every child to have a positive experience in class and feel inspired to create something beautiful!

Art ages 10-13 (Mondays)

This class is designed to take students' artistic skills to the next level by focusing on more advanced techniques and mediums.

Throughout the course, students will delve into concepts such as shading, perspective, and depth, while exploring various mediums including colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and clay.

Students will have the opportunity to experiment and develop their artistic abilities through engaging and fun projects.

Classes meet once a week on Mondays from 4-5 pm. The class follows the Alpine School district calendar, running from August to May (with some minor adjustments to ensure that all classes meet an equal number of times throughout the year).

Art ages 7-9 (Tuesdays)

In this class, students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art projects using different mediums and techniques.

Students will learn to create beautiful pieces of art using materials such as clay, watercolor, acrylic, printmaking, and more. Throughout the class, students will be encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.

Classes meet once a week for an hour on Tuesdays from 4-5 pm. The class runs from August to May, following the Alpine School district calendar (with some minor adjustments to ensure that all classes meet an equal number of times throughout the year).

The cost of the class is $52.50 per month, (after $25 deposit) and includes all necessary supplies.

Art for homeschoolers (ages 6-10)

This class is designed for homeschooling families that would like to keep siblings in the same class and at an earlier time of the day.

Classes meet once a week on Wednesdays from 1-2 pm. The class follows the Alpine School district calendar, running from August to May (with some minor adjustments to ensure that all classes meet an equal number of times throughout the year).

The cost of the class is $52.50 per month, (after $25 deposit) which includes all necessary art supplies.

Kristell does an amazing job keeping them engaged, answering questions, and helping them figure out how to do what they want to do. I've honestly been so impressed and my kids have loved the classes.
